About the Opportunity:

Headquartered in Southern California, Connect Merchant Payment Services (CMPS) is a registered ISO/MSP of Wells Fargo Bank N.A.

CMPS provides consulting services free of charge to help merchants determine whether or not they are in the correct payment acceptance program.  In addition to the actual way the merchant accepts payment, CMPS also reviews the price the merchant pays to accept the various forms of payment; CMPS typically can reduced this amount and convert the merchant to a new program while reducing their overall cost of acceptance.

Our relationship enables our merchants to have the most efficient and cost effective processing solutions which include the following:

  • Point of sale terminal processing
  • Gift card applications
  • PC based applications
  • Wireless applications
  • Internet payment processing
  • Recurring payment processing
  • Check guarantee service
  • Merchant funding programs

 

CMPS Will Provide:

  • The entire setup process for merchants
  • Terminal deployment and merchant training
  • On-going merchant support
  • Sales support and statement evaluation

 

CMPS is looking for representatives with these qualifications:

  • Outgoing personality that can be professionally reserved at times.
  • An advertising sales, teaching or customer service industry background
  • Listening skills
  • Ability to network with associations and buying groups, local banks, lead groups, chambers of commerce and point of sale vendors

District Field Sales Manager

Job Location:

Northern California and Central Valley

About the Opportunity:

The District Field Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding their monthly and annual goals. You will be expected to lead 15-20 Independent Sales Consultants to achieve targeted sales volume, profitability, product mix, and profitability targets. We assist you with recruiting and training. You take over after our world class training group educates the new recruits. You will spend an average of 4 days each week in the field with your reps. You will assist them in building individual sales plans, closing transactions, and providing ongoing training. You will also be expected to create a positive working relationship with local banks, credit unions and associations to create referral opportunities for your team. In this position you will report to the VP of Sales.

Experience:
• 2-4 years successful field sales experience. Experience selling advertising a plus.
• 2-4 years successful field sales management experience with a focus on new account acquisition.
• Your field management experience should be documented and verifiable, preferably with Commission only and or 1099 Sales Reps.
• One Call Closing Experience

• Strong Leadership Skills – you must keep motivation and activity levels very high
• Sense of Urgency—High Energy
• Excellent communication skills
• Integrity – you must operate at high levels of ethical standards
